Here we are in the last month winding up all of our courses. Where did the time go… can you believe your child is almost in grade 6?! It’s been a pleasure teaching the first and only group of Grade 5’s at Lakeshore School. This month is filled with some exciting events as we finish the year off. Bring on the Madness - March Update
February completed many different projects and are looking forward to March - HELLOOOOOO MARCH MADNESS (if you know, you know). Anyways… We spent some time on Pink Shirt Day creating origami hearts with buddy classes and writing kindness pledges. March also marks our official school opening. We are gearing up for parent teacher conferences and a much deserved Spring Break.

Happy Festivus - December Update
November was a fun filled month with many things on the go! Students loved their traditional Indian food experience and we had our first assembly at Lakeshore School on Remembrance Day, which was beautiful and thoughtful. We forged through moving into our new building and Halloween on a Monday! We were excited to open the doors to Lakeshore School and finally welcome you to our new building. Great Beginnings - October Update
We did it! We survived the first month! September has been a great month with many events and activities. We all survived the FeroWell events and are now well into March. The Flames are ROLLING and the greatest amateur sports tournament of the entire year kicks off here real soon - MARCH MADNESS! Happy Friday! We made it through the first week post winter break and I think everyone was really, really excited to be back. Oh So Jolly - December Update
Welcome to (maybe?) the craziest month of the year where everything seems to be happening at once and everyone’s busy all the time. Back to Reality - February Update
I have to say after spending 12 Days in Grenada it was very hard to return to the real world. Thank you to each of you that reached out before and after the break, it was simply the greatest time ever. On the Monday I was back, the students were very excted and asked to see photos and videos from the wedding and Grenada. It was a lot of fun sharing that. I also have to say that the marriage advice each of them wrote for me was amazing - some serious gems in there....
